Celebrating Excellence - Dr. Mgbajah Ogadinma

Dr. Mgbajah Ogadinma has made history by becoming the first female Cardiothoracic surgeon in Nigeria and West Africa.

Cardiothoracic surgery is a branch of medicine that is involved in the surgical treatment of organs within the thorax. A residency in this area generally requires 9-14 years of training to become a fully qualified surgeon.
Congratulations Dr. Mgbajah. We celebrate you.

When I requested her permission to share her story, she said 'Please do. It's to God's glory and to inspire others'.
